Let’s continue our tour of pre-SIHH 2013 announcements  with a pretty amazing piece produced by Roger Dubuis. A limited edition watch to 28 Pieces, a tribute to the Knights of the Round Table. Would Roger Dubuis have found the Holy Grail?

The watch reproduces a scene from the Round Table. Its pink gold 45 mm case incorporates the codes of the Excalibur collection:  imposing case, fluted bezel, crown protection and robust fixing strap with three horns.

The dial features 12 solid 18kt rose gold engraved figurines of the Arthurian knights with their swords. The “table” is hand-painted enamel depicting the round table of King Arthur. At each hour marker on the table, is the name of the knight depicted, in Olde English…

Movement is the new Swiss automatic Roger Dubuis in-house caliber RD822 with 33 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours. It is adjusted to five positions and features the Geneva Hallmark.

Oh, by the way, will you be able tell us the names of all the knights ???
