Watch Snack (noun):
“Article made of high-end watchmaking visuals & the sharing of insider Parisian spots worth visiting. Intense pleasure for the eyes and the taste buds, the Watch Snack is a source of inspiration that may very well bring you to your next acquisition as well as to the place where you’ll announce it to your lady friend.”
Three weeks ago we attempted to move you with a special Watch Snack named Patricia. Did I just say “attempted”? What am I thinking? There is no doubt that emotions were high, and that at the simple glance at the young Brazilian lady was enough to make your knees weak. Tell me if I’m mistaken: this is proof that vintage watches and women make for a dynamite combination…one that we wouldn’t mind seeing more often.
Hence, here we are. We couldn’t help but to renew the memorable experience. And yes, we are honoring Brazil once again, with another belle named Patricia, and whose smile hasn’t yet began to work its charm. At the instant that our photographer QV starts to shoot Patricia Gonçalves and her wrist, trying to find and capture the perfect angles, then everything falls into place.
Who ever said that a real dive watch would never be adapted to a wrist as fine as a woman’s doesn’t really know what he or she is talking about. I’m sure it was probably a joke…
Lo and behold an authentic Omega Seamaster 200 “Shom” on a Milanese mesh bracelet, and I think we all would agree that it works more than well on Patricia despite its imposing character.
I was lucky enough to have a few moments with the lovely Patricia. She told me many things about her life, her career, her dreams. Modeling professionally began at the tender age of 15 for the Brazilian beauty. 15 years old. She was so young that her studies naturally suffered and had to be put on hold. It all went back to “business as usual” when a few years later she went back to school, to study engineering mostly, and got her degree. Today she’s concentrating on her modeling career traveling between Sao Paulo, Paris, Florence and Milan.
As for the Omega Constellation, a bit less imposing than the Seamaster certainly, but full of warmth and charm. The diameter and finesse have something to do with it. This piece doesn’t dive, but has a little twist when paired our Brazilian beauty. No point in beating about the bush…
