The 23rd edition of the SIHH follows a record year for the Swiss Watchmaking industry that should exceed for the first time the 20 billion Swiss francs in export. With more than 13,000 visitors (3% vs SIHH 2012), the SIHH has kept all its promises in terms of attendance and organization but will remain as a mixed picture from our point of view.
We finally found some (nearly) affordable watches at this SIHH 2013! We had to wait 3 days just to think “hey, I could (almost) afford these ones if I want!”. Big Up to Baume & Mercier! Joking aside, the collection of the Swiss watchmaker Baume & Mercier honors the history of the brand with gusto.
Our SIHH 2013 trip just ended today. Back on earth after assisted to multiple conferences, time for assessment will ring soon. Last focus of this second day spent at the SIHH 2013. Panerai fans will probably envy us but we take the risk. Yes! We just saw and tried the most beautiful pieces by Officine Panerai this year and some may enter our Top 10 of the show. And you?
