Have you ever heard of Mellerio dits Meller? – No? – Nothing very surprising. Although little known to the general public, getting inside this House is yet going back to the origins of Parisian’s jewelery history. Nestled at 9 rue de la Paix, Mellerio is simply the oldest of the great Fine-Jewelery houses in Paris (but not only).
This is more than official now, Vacheron Constantin has opened its first exclusive boutique in Paris, 2 rue de la Paix. Unable to resist any longer, we went in this new mecca of Genevan Fine Watchmaking to discover some of the most beautiful pieces of the Vacheron Constantin boutique. This title is not necessarily appropriate. We shall conclude this 2012 retrospective not only by listing some of the best horological pictures of the year, but by 5 experiences, creations… of which we have witnessed during these last 12 months.
